This test was carried out with two test sessions, namely written tests and oral tests. Some tests in the form of interview tests, read the Qur’an, and read the book.

Of the 84 registrants not a few of them are registrants from outside Java such as Sulawesi, Riau, Riau Islands, Lombok and so on. Thus there are approximately 33 participants who took the test online. Due to the distance of some of these participants and the committee provided online test facilities, especially for those outside of Java.

“The beginning of this online and offline, which used to only hold offline tests directly to campus. But because many participants objected because of several things such as distance, where for example from Sumatra they had to come here after the test returned, a few days waiting for the announcement and did not go directly to college,” explained Ustadz Hamza, as the Chairman of the PMB Committee in 2025.

The quota for this year is 50 for sons and 35 for women. As explained by the committee, the changes in the good amount are less and more than the quota will see again from the results of the selection. With the convening of this test, it is hoped that the committee can get prospective mahasantri in accordance with campus qualifications, potentially in learning the hadith, in particular Hadith wa ulumuhu.
